Corton ”特級田”(Grand Cru👑)給大家普遍印象是質素參差, 但唯一例外的是當中的Clos du Roi ”地塊"(lieu-dit)💎. 葡萄酒大師(Master of Wine🙇♂️) Clive Coates認為Clos du Roi是全個Corton”特級田”中最好的"地塊”👍, 更將它和La-Tache/Richebourg/RSV/Musigny等名田並列為極少數的3️⃣星”特級田”⭐.
Domaine de Montille酒莊早於1863年已經成立, 而老莊主Hubert de Montille繼承後的第一個釀造年份為1947, 現時酒莊由Hubert的兒女Etienne和Alix管理. 酒莊在1995年將葡萄園改為有機種植, 之後更於2005年使用生物動力法(biodynamic)的方式種植.
入圍2004年坎城影展最佳電影的”Mondovino”(中文譯為”葡萄酒世界”)是酒迷必看的電影📽️, 影片中的靈魂人物Hubert de Montille是今次Domaine de Montille酒莊的老莊主👍. 連葡萄酒大師(Master of Wine🙇♂️) Clive Coates都話de Montille是Burgundy的偉大酒莊之一.

Allen Meadows’ Burghound (94 points) – “A highly complex and intensely sauvage nose of floral elements, pungent earth, humus, underbrush and discreet spice elements serves as an appropriate introduction to the impressively rich big-bodied flavors that possess a firm but not rustic tannic structure. There is excellent power and plenty of Corton-style muscle on the balanced and strikingly persistent finish. A classically styled example that will require plenty of cellar time.”
