Allen Meadows’ Burghound (93 points) – “This is both more aromatically complex and more elegant with its restrained, pure and beautifully well-layered nose of assorted red berries, earth, floral, game and tea scents. There is a relatively refined mouth feel to the robust yet refined middle weight flavors that possess plenty of tannin-buffering dry extract, all wrapped in a balanced and impressively long finish where a touch of wood appears.”
