Burghound - “Gentle wood sets off overtly spicy and earth aromas that blend notes of both red and dark pinot fruit. Here too the barely middle weight flavors possess a really lovely texture thanks to the lilting mouthfeel of the punch, balanced and sneaky long finish. As it always is, this is a Meursault rouge of finesse and refinement though it will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my predicted range. Note: from a small .53 ha monopole”

備受推崇卻稍顯低調的Domaine Henri Germain et Fils酒莊，Germain家族不追求曝光和宣傳。酒莊創立於1973年，當時Henri Germain購入位於Meursault的葡萄園，後又因妻子家族繼承Chassagne-Montrachet的地塊。酒莊今日由Henri之子Jean-François Germain主掌，其妻因為是François Jobard女兒，因而持有Meursault一級園Poruzots；近幾年，Jean-François女兒Lucie Germain亦加入酒莊。
採用有機耕作，Henri Germain酒莊於2021年全面採自然/生物動力農法耕耘。關於採收時機，Germain不早採、亦不晚摘，他們的Burgundy葡萄酒因而展現濃郁果韻，兼具結構所需的張力與緊緻感。釀造部份，採收後的葡萄不破皮便榨汁，之後於Burgundy傳統228公升的橡木桶培養12-18個月，新桶比例約20%。
