Giovanni Rosso是知名的家族酒莊，位於Barolo的 Serralunga d’Alba產區。Rosso家族自1890年起世代種植葡萄，擁有多處優秀葡萄田。直到1995年，莊主父親建立了酒莊。現莊主Davide Rosso曾到Burgundy的Domaine Jean Grivot和Denis Mortet工作，在千禧年間學成歸來，為酒莊甚至酒區帶來新氣象，一直備受關注。
這位二代釀酒師很注重風土觀念，推行有機及更天然的耕釀方法。使用100% Nebbiolo，壓榨後淋皮發酵25日，陳存2500升法國大橡木桶中熟成數月。無過濾裝瓶，入口更有力量，風味豐富。充滿紫羅蘭、紅車厘子、玫瑰及紅莓香氣。明亮挺拔的酸度和被馴化後的丹寧，很好地結合。醇厚圓潤，可口的煙熏、雲呢拿、咖啡、香料氣息，令風味更複雜立體，變化很有層次。
